Wonderful words of support from our local MP:
"Doug has been a great friend and supporter for many years, and has a strong commitment to our community" James Moore.

Coquitlam - Burke Mountain is a special place by nature with families of diverse cultures, established long term and new growing businesses, and hard-working individuals. We are fortunate to live in a community that is one of the fastest growing in British Columbia and that has so many wonderful attributes that contribute to an exceptional lifestyle.

I look forward to continuing to work together and helping to maintain and build a stronger economy that provides a foundation for the families and businesses to succeed.  I want to make everyday life a little more affordable for families and keep our commitments to senior citizens. I want to ensure our health care system is second to none, but also ensure that our health care system is sustainable for future generations.

Lastly, I believe if all levels of government work together for the good of all those we serve we can achieve great things. Over the past four years we have made great steps forward, from finally breaking the log jam to now see construction of Evergreen Line, the new redevelopment plans for Royal Columbia Hospital and Eagle Ridge Hospital moving forward, and working closely with our School district we have seen many new and expanded schools in the Tri-Cities. I hope to continue to work together and build a wonderful community we can all be proud of.

On May 14th I hope you will remember my record and re-elect me as the MLA for Coquitlam - Burke Mountain. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
